2006 Volvo S40 2.4i |
|
After the 2003 Mazda 6
died we sold it for 1/3 of what we bought it for. Not good. The fact
remained that our kids need transportation to work and school and
wherever else they need to go. We decided to buy a car that is
selected and owned by Randy and Kathy instead of the teen driver.
That way we can buy just one very nice car instead of two or three
high-mileage cheaper cars that may die or need expensive repairs.

What car should you buy
when you want reliability, safety, amazing good looks, performance,
street cred, and be cool to both kids and adults alike? There is
only one choice that satisfies all those requirements...a Volvo S40. |
|
We picked up this
one-owner 2006 Colorado beauty in rare "winning blue" with only
74,000 miles on it. Rickenbaugh Volvo poured $2000 into it replacing
the front suspension components and a slightly damaged front fender
to make it literally good as new. The timing belt and fuel pump were
done by the previous owner way before the 90k interval. Tires are
brand new Pirellis. |
|
We paid full NADA retail
because the dealer knew someone would buy it for that, and they are
right. Used cars like these are rare. Santi is driving it until he
goes to college, then Court when she is with us, then JP.
One sweet car for three
kids...perfect. |
