Casa Bonita! In English,
it means "beautiful house." It also has an alternative meaning: "If
you don't leave with a stomach ache, you did not get your money's
worth." |

Tacky Christmas Sweater
Party in Castle Pines. Kathy won tackiest sweater easily. How could
she not win with sewn-in cleavage? Check out those awesome Go-Go
boots! Randy awarded himself most gay looking, even beating
out the dude wearing a skin-tight turtleneck with snowmen pattern. |

Skiing at Keystone.
Weather was absolutely perfect. Almost too warm.

New Year's Eve 2012. The
party was a rager! |

We fell asleep on the couch and then turned the
TV on with 17 seconds to go in 2012. Just made it! |

Really enjoying the deck.

We love trying new (to us)
restaurants. This time we chose Linger. It serves worldly street
food. The restaurant's location was formerly a morgue. |

Awesome ski weekend at
Steamboat. Once again, absolutely perfect weather. We are both
fair-weather skiers. As far as skiing ability, Kathy is fairly
advanced while Randy is a solid intermediate. Here is how it works:
Randy chases Kathy all morning. In the afternoon when Kathy's legs
are starting to wobble, Randy can keep up with her. |
|
We had a great skiing day
at Mary Jane. Perfect weather. Starting to sound like a broken
record, I know.
|
|
Yep, more skiing. This
time at Winter Park.

We purchased this sporty
and silver beauty for Kathy's oldest son. It is a very sweet first
set of wheels for a 16-year-old boy. Randy found the car advertised
online at McDonald Mazda so he immediately sent Kathy the link for
review. After receiving her approval, Randy sent emails back and
forth with the salesman. In the end, the dealership wanted to make a
sale and we scored a great deal. It is a one-owner 2003 Mazda 6 Grand Touring so it has nearly every factory option available including black leather seats (heated), power heated mirrors, Bose premium sound, spoiler, sunroof, tinted windows, and alloy wheels. Kathy's son really wanted a standard transmission so he could learn to shift, and this car has it. The CarFax shows the original owner took it to McDonald Mazda every 4,000 miles for service for the entire 10 years he owned it. This car was an amazing find.
